Hey guys. After several delays, the much-anticipated game Cyberpunk 2077 is finally released. And now… time to watch the gameplay on YouTube lol. For those of you just catching Cyberpunk fever, you can also decorate your Windows desktop with a Cyberpunk 2077 theme.
The theme setup will use a simple yet epic method on your desktop. First, we’ll apply a custom-made Windows theme, then we’ll add Rainmeter skins.
The result will look something like this:
There are 4 steps involved: install the Windows theme, install Rainmeter skins, load and arrange the skins, and finally customize the colors. Let’s go!
Cyberpunk 2077 Windows Theme
We’ll use wallpapers from AlphaCoders and the Night Diamond mouse cursor by BlooGuy, plus Cyberpunk’s iconic red. All are bundled as a Windows theme for convenience.
1. Download the Cyberpunk Red Windows theme here.
2. Then open the file and wait. The theme will auto-install and apply immediately.
3. Also, hide desktop icons by right-clicking on an empty space > View > uncheck Show desktop icons.
Windows theme is done. Now onto Rainmeter.
Rainmeter Resources
Let’s take things up a notch with Rainmeter. If you haven’t installed it yet, download it here. Use the latest beta version (on the left).
Got Rainmeter installed? Let’s do this…
1. Download the Cyberpunk Rainmeter skin and icon pack here.
2. Install all the skins. Do NOT check “apply included layout” — we’ll load them one by one manually.
3. Once done, move on to the icons. Copy the “images” folder from the skin pack.
4. Go to Documents > Rainmeter > Skins > Honeycomb > @Resources
5. There’s already an “images” folder — just paste and overwrite it.
All the resources are now in place — time to load the skins and begin customizing!
Load Rainmeter Skins
Open the skin manager and load the necessary skins.
1. Open Rainmeter from the system tray.
2. Load the skins below and drag them as shown or arrange to your liking.
Background black: CircuitousTwo > _bars > horizontal.ini
WiFi: CircuitousTwo > Network > wifi > wireless.ini

Upload Speed: CircuitousTwo > Network > upload > upload.ini

Visualizer: Simple Clean > Visualiser > Visualizer.ini
App Icons: Honeycomb > choose as you like
Finishing: Change Colors
All skins are loaded and arranged — now let’s match the colors. We’ll use two main colors: cyan (#5CF6FE) and red (#D84A40).
1. Open skin manager and go to Vecto > Settings > Settings.ini
2. Change Color 1 to cyan (#5CF6FE), and Color 2 to white (RGB 255,255,255). Then close settings.
3. Now load settings for CircuitousTwo > Config.ini
4. Under Appearance tab, set Color 1 to red (#D84A40) and Color 2 to cyan (#5CF6FE). Close by unloading the settings skin.
5. Lastly, open Simple Clean > Settings > Settings.ini
6. Under Color Settings, choose cyan then close the settings.
And finally… done! ✨ Enjoy your new eye-pleasing Cyberpunk 2077-themed desktop ✨
